These terms apply to every offer on our website and every order placed with Vintage Avoir. By placing an order, you accept these terms. If any provision conflicts with mandatory consumer law, the law prevails and the rest of these terms remain valid.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

Vintage Avoir sells authenticated pre-owned designer items. Every item is unique and is sold in the condition described in its listing. We describe condition, visible wear and flaws honestly and show them in the photos, which always show the actual item. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen. Our condition scale is explained on the Condition Ranking page.

We are an independent reseller and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the brands we sell. Brand names are used only to describe the items; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Obvious mistakes or typing errors in a listing or price do not bind us. If this affects your order, we will contact you and refund you in full if you no longer wish to buy the item.

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is made in full at checkout using one of the payment methods offered there. Payments are processed by certified payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

The contract is concluded once you have completed your order and payment. You will receive an order confirmation by email. Because every item is one of a kind, it is only reserved for you after payment.

In rare cases we may be unable to fulfil an order, for example if the same item was sold at the same moment through another channel. We will then inform you as soon as possible and refund your payment in full within 14 days.

We ship to all EU countries. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days; delivery times are estimates, see our Shipping Information. We deliver no later than 30 days after your order, unless we agree otherwise with you. If we cannot, you may cancel the order and we will refund you in full.

Every order is sent tracked and insured. The risk of loss of or damage to the item remains with us until it has been delivered to you or to a person you appointed. If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us at contact@vintageavoir.com and we will resolve it.

You may cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving the item, without giving a reason. How this works, including the model withdrawal form, is explained in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You are entitled to an item that matches its description and is fit for normal use (the legal guarantee of conformity). This right cannot be excluded or limited. Because our items are pre-owned, wear that suits the age of an item and anything described or shown in the listing is not a defect. If an item does not conform, contact us at contact@vintageavoir.com and we will offer a repair, a price reduction or a refund, as provided by law. We do not offer an additional commercial warranty.

Every item is checked by our supplier and again by us before it is listed, and comes with a Vintage Avoir Authenticity Card. An item that is not authentic does not match its description. If you have any doubt about the authenticity of an item you bought from us, contact us at contact@vintageavoir.com; your full legal rights apply.

If you are not satisfied, please email contact@vintageavoir.com with your order number and a clear description of the issue, if possible with photos. We will confirm receipt and give you a full response within 14 days at the latest. If a complaint needs more time, we will let you know within that period and tell you when to expect our answer.

We are liable for damage caused by a failure on our part to the extent provided by law. We are not liable for indirect damage that is not caused by our fault, such as damage resulting from incorrect use of an item, unless the law provides otherwise. This article never limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. Please let us know immediately if you suspect misuse of your account.

We process your personal data only to handle your order, provide customer service and, if you signed up, send you our newsletter. More information is in our Privacy Policy.

All content on vintageavoir.com that we created ourselves, such as photos, texts and our logo, belongs to Vintage Avoir. You may not reuse it without our written permission.

We may update these terms. The version published on our website at the moment you place your order applies to that order. Changes never apply retroactively to orders already placed.

These terms and every order are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent court as determined by law; as a consumer you may always bring a claim before the court of your place of residence. We will always try to resolve a complaint together with you first.
